After working in a variety of roles on student short films, I finally landed a leading role in the étude 7 Shots, produced by students from the Warsaw Film School. The film, titled “Inaudible”, was written and directed by Sándor Mátyás and shot in a rented house in the town of Granica near Warsaw. You can see it here.
I played Adam, a withdrawn artist who spends his days composing music while caring for his aging mother, portrayed by Bożena Sitek. As the story unfolds, the weight of isolation, routine, and suppressed emotions gradually begins to consume him.
The experience was incredibly rewarding. The crew, made up of around 20 people, brought together both film students and industry professionals from a wide range of countries, including Poland, Lithuania, India, Turkey, Ukraine, Britain, and Germany. In the picture below, part of the crew and I (wearing red, in character as Adam) are recording sounds outdoors for his musical experiments.
