In January 2025, I attended the screening of Fin del Mundo? at the historic Kino Iluzjon, as part of the Polskie Nagrody Filmowe – Orły 2025 (the Polish Oscars). The screening was very touching, because that same week passed away actor Stanisław Brudny, one of the main characters of the film, at the age of 94.

After the screening, there was a Q&A with the crew. I was sitting quietly in the audience when the director, Piotr Dumała, called me up to the stage. Mind you, I had a very brief role in this film, so I was not expecting that. Anyway, I enjoyed saying a few words about the “Argentinian” scene and how it serves proof for Piotr’s passion for Latin America.
